Let's talk about what's possible.
We want every family who values a Montessori education to be able to consider AIA. Our Admissions and Finance teams are glad to talk through payment plans and any assistance that may be available, reach out early in your application process so we can explore options together.
Why families choose AIA.
Tuition at an independent Montessori school pays for something specific. Here is what it supports.
Credentialed Montessori guides
Every lead guide holds a recognized Montessori credential. That training is the difference between a Montessori classroom and a classroom with Montessori materials in it.
A complete set of materials
A full Montessori environment is a significant investment per classroom, and materials are replaced as they wear. Children work with the real thing, not a partial shelf.
Small multi-age communities
Children stay with the same guide for three years. That continuity depends on class sizes and staffing ratios a larger school cannot hold.
One pathway, 18 months to Grade 8
Your child never has to start over. Most Montessori schools in the area end at Kindergarten or Elementary, which means another admissions process and another adjustment. Read why consistency matters.
5+ acres to explore
Outdoor learning, gardens, and room to move are part of the daily program rather than a scheduled recess.
A nonprofit, not a chain
AIA has been independent and nonprofit since 1981. Tuition goes back into the classrooms, the campus, and the educators.
Tuition & payment FAQ.
Is tuition paid through FACTS?
Yes. All families enroll in FACTS Tuition Management, which handles automatic payments for your chosen plan. One-time charges like camps and events are paid separately through other payment methods like check, cash, or Zelle.
What if I need care beyond school hours?
Yes. Register for Early Arrival, After School, and half-day care plans on our Extended Day Registration, and browse after-school activities on our Beyond the School Day page. Extended Day and activities are billed through your FACTS account.
Are there discounts for multiple children?
Yes. Families enrolling more than one child receive a 10% sibling discount on the second child and 15% on each additional child, in addition to any payment-plan discount.
What happens if a payment is missed?
Late payments forfeit plan discounts, and two or more missed or denied payments may require a deposit and a transition to bank draft only. Please contact the Finance Office as early as possible if you anticipate a payment issue.
